Points on Visiting the Sick:
- Sickness can be
- An expiation of sins
- A sign of Allaah’s love
- A sign of eemaan
- A magnification of rewards
- An elevation of degrees in Jannah
- An early punishment
- Rewards for visiting the sick
- 70, 000 angels make du'aa for you
- You are plucking the fruits of Jannah for as long as you visit
- Etiquettes of visiting the sick
- Choose a suitable time
- Keep the visit short unless there is something that is needed

- Sit close to his head
- Avoid arguments
- Avoid raised voices
- Avoid looking at ‘awrah

Uqbah bin Amir
Al-Juhani narrated that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
"Do not force your sick to eat, for indeed Allah provides them food and drink."
عن عقبة بن عامر الجهني رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تكرهوا مرضاكم على الطعام , فإن الله يطعمهم ويسقيهم
